- Lyn was born on the Caribbean Island of Grenada. She studied photography at Champlain College, Quebec, Canada; Bermuda College; and Crealde School of Visual Arts, Winter Park, Florida.

The spices, nutmeg and cocoa are among the chief export products of Grenada and can be found growing in some of the other Caribbean islands. The fruits and produce such as mangoes, coconuts, papayas, ackees, bananas are captured in their natural state hanging from the trees.
